In the year 1986 our search for a plot of land to establish a Seminary for the training of the future Priests of Little Flower Congregation who are to work in this part of the country came to an end as we found a suitable place at Chargawan in Gorakhpur district. It was a deserted place with a calm and quiet atmosphere, a suitable place for setting up the seminary. In course of time new migrants came to settle and colonies came up. It was in this context that the idea of a Primary School sprang up. On 14th February 1991, the foundation stone of the School was laid by His Excellency Bishop Dominic Kokkat. The Minor Seminary was shifted first to Basil Bhavan Basti and finally to Waltergunj in the year 2005.
It was found that the convenient and suitable place to function the office of the Little Flower Province was Chargawan. Necessary modifications to the building was done in the year 2004 to suit this purpose.
